McCoy was hurt in the first series.
Texas fans can't blame the backup qb (Gilbert) for how he is playing. He is completely inexperienced and was just thrown into the national championship in the footsteps of McCoy. Texas needs to put in Childs because Gilbert is not able to move the ball. The standard run, run, throw on 1, 2, 3 is too "by the book."
