Mirror Mirror???

I know this has probably been discussed in the past, but, i'm new and just wanted to know if anyone would impart their wisdom on the issue of Mirror Mirror...

Of What i've already absorbed i understand that at the end of the wild heart tour stevie went back to the studio for a new album with demo's such as running through the garden, thousand days, at the fair etc. Also it appears that the album entitled Mirror Mirror was due out oct-nov 1984 but then something happened, she had a fight with Jimmy or something???

And then we didn't get RAL until Nov '85. What happpened....???

...reason being is that of the demos i've heard it appears Stevie chucked out half of what would have been a totally awesome album in favour of safe bets.(songs written by others etc)
