Just listened to this song for the first time in ages and I've remembered why I skip it... what do others make of this track? I really, really just don't think it works at all! I don't know what posessed Stevie to do it. The thing is, it could have been brilliant because as we know she sings country really well but the horrible 80s synth backing track and Rupert Hine's production....just no!
This song has been covered by so many people over the years and I really think Stevie's version is the worst I've heard, which is a real shame because I hate to dislike anything she's done quite so much! Does anyone like this? Maybe I can be persuaded...haha...
