I met Lindsey and his kids last fall at the Grove of Anaheim and after the show he grateously signed autographs, took pictures and charged us nothing. I got one of Lindsey's guitar picks from Will after the concert and talked to Leelee right before the concert. Again all for free. That's the real VIP experience.

I agree.
Whatever anyone wants to say about Lindsey, the two times I've had my "close encounters" with him off-stage, he's been incredibly sweet and generous with his time. And there was no sense that he felt he was making a sacrifice to be there. In fact, the second time we caught up with him, it was almost like hanging out a bit with an old friend. He was joking and relaxed and seemed to enjoy himself.

Even Stevie, who has the whole Diva-esque thing going for her, has been a doll when I've seen her off-stage. Very gracious and kind. There was no sense that "well, you've paid me so now I will give you an audience with the king/queen."

I wouldn't trade those "free" moments, given out of whatever is in their hearts (even if deep down they may consider it just part of being a celeb) for all the meet and greets in the world.
