Obama continues one of Bush's most outrageous abuses of power

Obama's Justice Department is making quick use of Bush's tactic to put himself above the law. Bush made sure that anything related to his demented crimes against humanity and democracy couldn't be challenged in court because he would spout "State Secrets!" and demand that victims be denied justice.

Maybe if you had been captured by a team of men dressed in black, had your clothes cut off, a suppository forced up your ass, been chained to the floor of an aircraft, and been rendered to a foreign country for torture, you would want your day in court for justice. Obama wouldn't want you to have it.

This comes just days after the new administration threatened the U.K. that if its courts didn't conceal evidence of torture done on one of its former residents, that it could retaliate by stopping the sharing of intelligence information.
