I did want to say that I don't think there's anything wrong with a theme for a kid's room. My brother had a Star Wars theme. His sheets, his wall paper and he had pajamas to match. He loved it. It was probably my mother's idea, but it was inspired by his love of Star Wars.
As long as you aren't preventing your child from enjoying his own room, by telling him he can't hang his mitt up, because it will ruin the decor, then what's wrong with a theme? Babies usually start out with a theme -- nurseries using Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh, etc. I'll tell you what I'd like to see is that doll house the girls have. I saw a little item on the designer a couple of years ago and they can cost up to $100,000. I'd really like to see the one the Buckingham family got.
