The best thing to do would be to find something besides a liberal blog that says that they deliberately lied. Your question is a "when did you stop beating you wife" question that assumes a basis that cannot be assumed. It illustrates everything that is wrong with liberals today, which is "the seriousness of the charge" and the need to defend yourself against it, instead of whether or not the charges have any merit to begin with.
