Mac the Knife

Lindsay Buckingham, left, of Fleetwood Mac, will be at The Depot on Monday, Sept. 22.

Tickets go onsale this coming Saturday (Aug. 2) at 10 a.m. at all SmithsTix outlets and by calling 467-8499.

Buckingham will be in Salt Lake City only six days after the release of his fifth solo album, "Gift of Screws." The album is said to be a "rocking complement" to Buckingham's last album, "Under the Skin," which was a largely acoustic album released in 2006.

Last fall, he went on his first U.S. solo tour in 14 years, and this album was written and recorded in his home studio and also hotel rooms during that tour.

So that was all the noise in room 229.
