Beaten to a pulp by tambo bashing?

I have fully half of these rough layout illustrations for a law firm completed and I'm feeling pretty spry. The only thing that could bring me down right now would to be beaten to a pulp by a jangle of tambourine wielding Stevie Nicks fans. http://www.johannas-art.com/tambourines.htm

The folky tinkling alone would be enough to reduce me to tears, but it's the Franklin Mintiness that'd finish me off.

The creative director that hired me called the illustrations I'm drawing "scamps". I don't believe I've ever come across this terminology before and am desperately hoping it hasn't invaded the industry. It sounds like I should feel more kindly towards them, you know, because they're not drawings or art - they're scamps.
