I was at Barnes and Noble today browsing through The Onion's new book Our Dumb World. It's sort of a spoof the reference books published by DK, with lots of politically incorrect black comedy.
Anyway, on the map of Iraq, one of the call-outs says "U.S. soldier wonders how "Leather And Lace" got on his iPod's "battlefield playlist."" I wonder if the editors knew about Stevie's Walter Reed visits, or were just trying to provoke a humorous reaction from the reader. I found this photo of the page on Amazon. Sorry it's not of better quality. ![]() Oh, and a picture of Steve, because I can't actually post here without including one. ![]() |
