well, here's the thing. in that poll that was done not long ago, almost everyone said they'd buy a coffee table book. which is much different than a poster. posters, in most cases, are really something that most adults aren't going to put on their walls. I do, you do, several do, but most don't. plus, no one's been really uber excited with the photo selections or the prices. I think that when you offer a single photo it's a lot easier for people to pass on it. everyone has said, do a cofee table book with a little blurb here and there and charge the $50 or so and most would snatch it.

from your post it sounds like the calendar and poster didn't sell well. is that true? maybe HWW should have just done the coffee table book to start with as people have suggested for years. I appreciate his effort though. I actually liked most of the pics used for the calendar...especially the cover. now, the poster is cute and sweet and all, but I'd much rather have had something more formal, in terms of pose, etc. that I could actually hang on my wall. in all honesty, the poster looks like something I took to Kinkos to have blown up. you see what I mean? it just doesn't come across as a Stevie Nicks/HWW original, special piece. fans are very picky and will turn on you in a second. that's just the way it is. HWW has a little window of opportunity here to actually get the coffee table book out. as for having the money to do it, I'm not sure I know what that means. are you saying he's forking over the money initially and then making his own money back? if that's the case, he should really be listening to what the fans say. be creative. offer options for fans to pick what picture they want as a poster or included in a calendar. as for the coffee table book, can't he find a publisher to work with him on this?
