Stevie sure brings out the crazies!

Well, I'm certainly not going to post a link or anything, but the old (and virtually dead) Stevie group on UseNet sure brings out the lunatic fringe. The most recent post there is an asinine, lurid story by some sick **** with a diahrrea fetish. No, really.

Can anyone explain why Stevie brings out such a disproportionate number of crazies? Bill Gamelson, the guy who wanted to kidnap her and force her to cure his homosexuality, the crazed fan who raped that impersonator, diahrrea fetishists, the guy who did dozens of nude portraits of her, ebay members selling her snot rags, the religious fundamentalists who tried to ban her music, ex-fans fantasizing about gagging and raping Stevie for releasing songs they didn't like... are there any other female singers out there with a concert security watch list longer than Stevie's?
