Fleetwood Mac's new version of Thrown Down

[Sapphire Blues]

I have to admit, I have been playing this song non-stop since I got it. It's just so catchy...and not in a dumb, pop-song way like, say, "Little Lies". The vocal is probably one of the best Stevie has done is quite a long time. Her harmonies during the chorus soar to a level not reached since Twisted. It really surprised me how pleasant and strong her voice is for this performance. There is a tonal quality that is so unique... Take for instance when she sings "again" in "he fell for her again." Blame it on the hole in the nose, but no other vocalist in music today can match that sound!

Though the guitar arrangement bears striking resemblence to The Dance version of "Big Love," Lindsey gets kudos for just pouring into the song. I haven't heard him this vocally compelling on one of Stevie's songs since Frozen Love.
