that sounds like a perfect strategy -
or semi perfect - lol
i still want them to go into the tour knowing 40 or 45 tunes -
and go with what they are feeling at the moment -
lindsey thinking : "hmmm - i could really rip a kick ass
so afraid right now - but . . . .we have
whats the world coming to on the the list next so i guess thats what i gotta do . . . "
stevie thinking: "wow - this is the perfect moment for a rousing
Angel - the crowd is really attentive - lets bust it out . . .but wait . . .i guess i should stick to the set list and sing
say you will . . . again. . . "
i know it's never been this way
and im a (at least ) semi-dead head so i like the live for the moment set -
BUT I THINK IT WOULD ENCOURAGE MORE HARD CORE FANS TO GO TO MORE SHOWS IF IT WASN'T THE SAME SHOW (BASICALLY) EVERYNIGHT -
ok i accidently hit the caps lock up there - really i did- but im gonna leave it cos it seems right -
heeey youuuuu guyssssss -
surprise us

and do what it takes to get that lovable chris woman to show up unannounced at a few shows (at least) and keep our asses guessing -
sample ledge talk afterwards:
"what's that you say -
bob welch and walter egan came up and played a few tunes and came back for the encores .. .
hypnotized . . . get the f out of here they didn't do it - really???
blonde in the blue t-bird ??? right into
magnet and steel?
nuh uhhhh - you had a dream .
no kidding??
frozen love . . . in the second set
with plenty of room left for stevie and lindsey material new and old??
oh my G!!!
man you are right i should have just taken a month or two of and followed the mac around the u.s. -"
