Don't you know who I am?

Some of us Schmucks have jobs where we occasionally encounter celebrities. I have a friend who's a server at a very nice seafood resturant here in Minneapolis and one night a local tv couple showed up and proceeded to move themselves right to the reservation desk and demand to be seated immideately. My friend basically said, there is a line of people and you'll have to wait like everyone else. The couple were incredulous and you guessed it said "Dont you know who we are. We know the owner of this place and if you want to have a job tomorrow we suggest you seat us now." Just wondering if any of you have ever encountered something like this in your job?
