I am getting the garage at my rental redone before I sell it. The workers hauled out a filthy moldy cheap steamer trunk, two dented and muddy filing cabinets, a mildew covered rug, old dishes, some stray engine parts, and a tote bin full of rotten clothing and pictures (damned tenants and their leave behinds...). I was planning a bulk trash pickup, cause all that stuff was in the driveway waiting. Two days later, everything but the bin full of rotten clothing was gone. The stuff was landfill material. Now it is in someone's house.

BTW, there was an old mop too. GONE.

Yeah, exactly. Although, I'm kinda suprised they took that moldy stuff. I got some of my furniture from outside... Mainly from my immediate neighbors, though, I didn't "trawl" for anything, and it was in fairly good shape.
