Well, obviously I've been watching too many videos from the 80's lately.... and wondering about the stage floor (that she loves) from Stevie's 80's solo tours... the affectionately dubbed "Aztec Landing Pad"
So, does anyone have any info on the design or inspiration or anything on this floor? I love the black and white... and all the different shapes and offsets are really cool, and I'm sure the stage was really trippy to look at when you were performing and on coke or klonopin or whatever... maybe that's why the floor was left in the 80's (to never be seen again), left behind in the 80's with (most) all of Stevie addictions. But sheerously.....if it were still the 80's... I'd probably re-do my living room floor with the ALP motif... if it weren't so dated.... if only I had more info on it.... anyone????..... Could it be related to the Chilean Caped whatever? Aztec - Chilean... (my priestofnothing jest -I want to know.... what was the connection....)
