Tickets for CA Petty shows HARD to get!!

Am I the only one having such a HARD TIME getting good seats for the Cali shows?? The San Diego/Coors show in particular. Nothing has been coming up (good) on TM, and the brokers are selling them very quickly and for a lot of $$. I'm really surprised. The San Diego show is on a wednesday night, and it's not LA, so I thought I'd be able to find SOMETHING in the orchestra (which is a big section at Coors), but I haven't. At least not in my price range. I'm willing to go up to $250/seat.
I have a friend working on her neighbor who owns a ticket broker business, but if that falls through I guess I'll just go to the venue on the day of the show and hope they release some seats. Maybe there ARE a lot of seat holds for this show, even though it's not LA. Anyway, sorry to rant....just very disappointed right now. I'm trying to not give up hope.

Any of you guys ever got lucky with seats going to the venue on the day of the show?
