It Was You

every day now
how the time has flown
every day now
i'm finally home
because i waited for a woman who was true
i waited for a woman - it was you

we would be too late
...
a future i couldn't see
the past is gone, william's here

lover we'll watch him grow every day now
i can hear the sound every day now
love is all around
because i waited for a woman who was true
i waited for a woman - it was you

we had to wait
wouldn't be too late
the past is gone
leelee's here

back in 99
our love...
...
past is gone, stella's here

that's so lovely - without being over the top cheesy. i do love the sentiment of "past is gone... william (leelee, stella)'s here." it's the acknowledgement of his past, his obvious past with stevie, but such a strong message to kristen. i haven't heard the actual song yet, but i will... thanks for posting the lyrics.
