It's been said that between ~1956ish up to her death, Marilyn Monroe was the most photographed woman on the planet. But from 1977 to 1983, surely Stevie must hold that crown.
I have 1,140 picture of her in my Photobucket gallery (which is really awesome, wink, wink, know what I mean?). The vast majority are just Stevie. For every picture I have, there's at least ten I never bothered to save. Someone on the Seven Wonders board has a scrapbook with 26,000(!) pictures of Stevie in it. Did Stevie spend every waking minute of her life either on tour, in the studio, or in front of a cameraman? I mean, doesn't the sheer number of promotional photoshoots she participated in seem a little overblown? I'm seeing previously-unseen photographs from 30 years ago showing up almost constantly. ![]() |
