A Belgian chamber orchestra, the Beethoven Academie, recently lost its 2007 government funding, so it is selling itself to the highest bidder on eBay!

There are 83 bids so far. The Beethoven Academie specializes in late-classical & early-romantic music. It is "Eroica" sized: that is, 35 instrumentalists, based on the size of the orchestra for which Beethoven wrote his Symphony No. 3 in E-flat major (Opus 55), which altered the course of Western music from that time forward.

This orchestra would be ideal for us ledgies: dream performances at our command!
