I've been listening to this a lot recently and at the moment it's my favourite on ITM. It has my favourite line in it "I tripped and I fell, I got lost for a little while. But then you caught be in your lovin arms, rescued me with your smile"
I used to think that it might be about her family but now it sounds to me like it's about someone who gets together with a person who they've known for a long time but just as a friend. It doesn't have to be about her at all. I know she co-wrote it with Billy Burnette and George Hawkins but I'm not sure how responsible she was for the words. What does everyone else think? Gail |
