I always find it strange yet alluring how Italian food often mixes way too many kinds of meat together. The other day I was watching some show, or reading something, Italian cooking, and it was like...."wrap the meatball filled turkey with prosciutto...then wrap that in salami...top with mozzarella...sprinkle a little parmesan..."
 (chili's Italian soup with meatballs in chicken broth reminded me of that). I love Chili, too. All kinds. I've never tried manhattan clam chowdah.
