Stevie Poll

[David]

I feel like a Stevie poll, & there's no explanation for it. Having never learned to use the autopoll feature in this place, I will have to make this a manual poll.

What do you think Stevie would least want to do for a living?
A. Serve her constituents as a politician
B. Stun-gun cattle in a slaughterhouse
C. Work on a SWAT team

If you are seeing Stevie play this spring/fall (depending on which hemisphere you're in) for the first time, describe the sensation in the pit of your stomach.

If Stevie asked you to join her group for the Australian tour & told you to make a place for yourself in her band or the organization in general, what would you do?

You're a member of Stevie's band/organization for two months, & everything's going great. Then an old enemy from Usenet hands over to Chris Nicks some old post of yours making fun of Stevie. Do you pretend it never happened? Try to explain to Chris? Ask him not to show your post to his sister?

Did you see the profile on Fleetwood Mac on 20/20 in 1980? Were you upset by having to sit through a story on seal hunting before the report on Fleetwood Mac started?

Did you see Stevie's performance of "Stand Back" & "Nightbird" on Solid Gold in 1984? Did you think her lipstick was:
A. Too heavy
B. Just right

If you could have a full-length, unedited DVD performance of any Stevie Nicks or Fleetwood Mac performance in history, which would it be?

B. Overhyped caterwauling

Warner/Reprise comes to you two weeks before releasing "Trouble in Shangri-La" & asks you to decide whether "That Made Me Stronger" stays on the album or is dropped to make room for Stevie's new recording of "All the Beautiful Worlds." You consider the thematic importance of "That Made Me Stronger" & its integral role in giving Stevie the confidence she needed to complete the entire project. In the end, you decide to:
A. Dump "That Made Me Stronger" & its sociological importance in favor of "Beautiful Worlds"
B. Stick with the sociology & keep the song

"I don't really need this in my life/Why don't we forget about it?"
A. Bloated, inane "Rock a Little" excess
B. Cool & inspired spoken vocal delivery

Do you ever incorporate Internet signature files into your posts or e-mails and try to pass them off as something you came up with yourself?

You would prefer
A. Seeing Stevie perform solo
B. Seeing Stevie perform with Fleetwood Mac
C. Seeing Stevie perform with Bob Dylan & Tom Petty
