Yes, yes, I know that most so-called "martinis" around now are not actually martinis. I don't care what they're called - many of them are DEE-LISH! I'm primarily a beer girl, cheap wine once in a while (yup, I'm really classy.) But I've had a few fancy drinks lately that were sooo good.
Cable Car Martini - It had Bacardi O, Bacardi 151, something else I can't recall, a bit of sour mix & a cinnamon/sugar rimmed glass. YUM! Cherry Cosmopolitan - Damned if I can remember what was in it, but it was red & pretty & sweet & had cherries in it. Chocolatini - remains a fave ever since I tasted Suze's in Vegas. I've had tastes of appletini, espresso martini, junebug (melon), malibutini (coconut, obviously.) All damn good. What's your favorite "martini?" And how much do they cost by you? I've paid as little as $4.50 at small dive bars, but some places charge up to $10. Average here is probably $6.50. |
