But I don't think L-Ho shouldn't cover it. You know, in that way that she can do whatever she wants? I mean, I definitely have the preconception that it will suck, but I don't have to listen to it.

MmmHmmm, I probably wouldn't even know about it, if not for this thread. I had no idea the Mean Girls girl was trying to be a pop star, or anything else about her. Now that I have seen her (video link posted here) I think they did an ok job of coaching her voice, and recording her. The makeup people did a good job of airbrusing some oil and bronze on her also. So, she's all set, and she can tour with her dance troupe and wireless headset mic, and I won't pay attention to that either. But, maybe someone will pass on a link, and the song will be different in some creative way that honors the first but doesn't just ape it, and then I will check it out. If that happens, well, cool!

In other words, if this song becomes popular, there better be some mad props to Stevie as much as they can be fitted in. A "mad prop" extravaganza, if you will.

A flash mob of nightclub interventionists twirls into a crowded nightclub with boomboxes playing the Stevie version... tech teams jam the airwaves when the L-Ho version of Edge is played, replacing it with Stevie...and they shall be called, the Mad Props Underground!
