No, I got it. She is saying that the gernade happened to blow up and Cleland is no hero for that because it could have happened anywhere. She is wrong. It did not happen anywhere. It happened while he was serving in Vietnam, which was an honoroable thing for him to do and FAR more than W or Cheney did. Yet, she never says that. Instead, she leaves one with the impression Cleland was not a hero for serving in Nam - she specifically said he was not a hero. That is fu*ked up ****te. The man lost limbs while serving his country and deserves respect for it. Yet, she treated him like he did nothing of the sort and implied she was some sort of con artist for losing limbs in Vietnam while serving his country.
