Like or Dislike: Love is Like a River
I have grown to love this song a whole lot over the years. It rocks. Do the lyrics make much sense? Nah. But who cares? There are moments of brilliance here, people!
"You used to call me wicked" "when you lose your sight and suddenly...the day comes" "everything around me is electric now but I haven't burned a candle in a real long time and only when your heart says it's over does it die well love is like a river...running... straight back to the sea!" Oh, And "Uptight out of sight" is so bad it's good.  The upbeat music kicks. I would not like this song nearly as much if it were a slower tempo. Live? Sure, I'd take it if she'd do it.
