She does have such dark and intense eyes anyways, it'd be so funny to be her parents when she was a teen - - -they'd never be able to tell - lol!

Dad: "Come here you! Have you been smoking that funny stuff while you were out tonight?!?!"

Stevie: "No dad, no mom, I was just out with some new boy, Lindsey, and we were just pondering life. I was telling him about some boy who I had loved and lost, I was sad, but not blue, you know? ...Blue...yes, Lindsey had on the softest faded blue jeans....and his face, and the sunflowers...they just fascinated me...."

Mom: "Oh...okay dear. That's fine. I understand."

Stevie: "No, no I don't think you do...I feel like I've climbed a mountain, and I've turned around...and I see my reflection..."

Dad: [ever more insistant] "Okay dear. We believe you!"

Stevie: "...races, races are run, you know?....Some people win, but some people, oh, they always have to lose..."

Mom: [not even looking up from her knitting] "Yes honey, go write it all down in your diary. Goodnight dear."
