If you're a legal adult you don't have to take Driver's Training.), practice, and go back and take the actual driving test.

I never get past the acquiring of the learner's permit. (I have no problem passing the written test... but once I get the permit I never seem to practice)

Whoa, lots of posts to respond to! I went to a school that included actual driving in driver's ed. I started out awful and then improved and wound up being decent enough. But, the thing is, we just got a certificate saying we passed driving school at the end. All that meant was that I could get my learner's permit, which I did immediately. But then the actual driving test didn't work out too well.

I am so jealous of you Krista!
