The Mac: Dinosaur Rock?

I've frequently heard the Mac's music described as "dinosaur rock". I was just searching for elusive details of Stevie's new Best Of disc, and found this:

Sadly, I guess the description is true after all.

The funny thing is, the covers look eerily similar, if you assume Mick to be the Purplesaurus...
