Maybe this was already discussed, but I don't remember.
So Mick said in his book that "at the end" credits went to the whole band (about the Chain). But who really wrote the song? According to Stevie in VH-1 Classic Albums, Lindsey and John were playing it but they didn't have a song, and Lindsey is very touchy about somebody involved in his songs (or something like that). But since there was no finished songs, Stevie came with lyrics and... Ok, is this accurate? Or there other sources that tell a different story? And what that Chris put in that song? I think Mick didn't put anything. The bass section is obviously John (did he include something more?) And why did they decide to put the whole band as authors? |
