JK, I'm sure you'll manage. I'll think of you as I toss back my first drink at 9am.

well, i've been slightly sick (cough, sore throat, runny nose) for the past 3 days, due to chainsmoking and drinking for the two weeks before that. since i didn't want to smoke at this time, i've also been trying to quit. There's no way i will quit if I drink. Also, my parents (although they smoke) don't think i smoke, so i can't easily smoke when i'm at their house anyway, and also I can't drink (well, i could, i've gone to the bar down the street before, but why bother?) So, you see how the many forces are conspiring to get me to not smoke and drink? My mom quit drinking when she was 25 cause it started giving her headaches. Drank heavily for a few years before that, i think. My dad was an alcoholic, and when i was 8-9, and he wanted to come live with us, my mom said he had to stop drinking (which was why she left in the first place, when i was about 1 1/2.) So he did. So he can't drink anymore. I think it's nice my parents don't drink.
