John Lennon is my Dad's Stevie Nicks. He absolutely idolized him. Not in a scary way but in homage. And my Dad can sing though his anxiety would never allow him to do that in public. Similarly he loved The Beatles like I love Fleetwood Mac. But he most identified with John Lennon, like I LOVE FM but I most identify with Stevie Nicks.

He made me a music afficionado. So for anyone to desecrate this day in such a way is extra tragic for me personally. It scares me that it may have been intentional. If it was or was not it does not make the tragedy less abominable. But if it was intentional it makes at atrocious beyond expression...

I'm always so grateful for the musicians who are willing to make the sacrifices necessary to deliver to Us the music that keeps us ALL going. None of them ever think they are putting their life on the line like this, why would they have until now?

Thank you, musicians for what you do. We know you sacrifice a lot to go out there and play for us. I do not take that for granted. I say an extra prayer for your safety today, even though I know that I should not have to.

Please, people, peace...
