Brian Wilson's Smile

I'm surprised that no one has brought up Smile on the boards.
I've been listening to it a lot lately and am amazed that he was able to keep such a consistent level of genius throughout the whole album.
I also constantly think of Lindsey and I'm sure he was blown away by the whole thing. I'm also reminded of Mirage (and some Tango In The Night) era Christine. It's amazing how much influence Brian had on the band.

I predict at least a few grammys for this album - it is certainly on my list of best of the year (along with Wilco and Sonic Youth).
