bev vance and aussie comments

I was just listening to the Bev Vance conversations downloads from Gypsy Dreamer [URL=http://www.bellefleurgypsy.com/]

I may be remembering this wrong. During the Aussie leg, didn't Stevie say something about "Beverly" a dear friend that had just passed away from cancer? I believe she went on and said she could feel her spirit.
If my memory is correct are these Bev's the same person?
If they are, it makes listening to these conversations kind of sad and well... just a tad creepy

BTW Bev seems like a nice person
