Stevie and Bruce
Found this on a Bruce Springsteen fansite. Wonder if it’s true?
Anyone have any info? The Stevie Nicks Underground lists the demo as not in circulation. Janey Don't Lose Heart Wanted to share some info on "Janey Don't You Lose Heart". Bruce wrote the song for Stevie Nicks. I believe they met through Jimmy Iovine. Stevie's best friend died of leukemia in 1982, and subsequently, Stevie sank into depression. The lyrics to Janey mirror this. She recorded a version of it called "Baby Don't You Lose Heart", but it has never surfaced.
