Velvet Revolver "Contraband"...
is a great release, I received my copy today and have been playing the "holy s--t" outta it.
Definitely a Guns 'N Roses vibe to this release, As Slash literally plays some of his best leads I have ever heard, This is coming from a G'N'R fan who was listening to 'em before AFD was released (My oldest brother has a vinyl version of "Live-Like A Suicide"...Which predated AFD.) IMHO "Contraband" is better than most of the newer stuff I have heard as of late. Now only if Axl & Co. release Chinese Democracy in my lifetime...
