SADDEST:

1. Blue Denim~~ IMHO, one of her saddest songs EVER
2. Bombay Sapphires (I know Stevie says the "I can see past you" line is supposed to be hopeful, but I hear an incredible sadness in these lyrics, as if she is trying very hard to convince herself that she can indeed, move on)
3. Silver Springs~ no explanation necessary
4. Goodbye Baby--- it would be hopeful, if I did not always think of the backstory when listening to it.
5. Storms--- gut wrenchingly so.
6. Stand Back (yes, musically it kicks ass but my interpretation of her lyrics makes me feel it is really a very sad song, very troubled, with alot of fear, confusion, anger and a sense of being abandoned emotionally running through it. To me, that is all very sad.

To me the sadness of Blue Denim is in her voice. She sounds klike she's about to crack from misery.
