Say Goodbye / Wichita Lineman

Am I the only one who thinks Say Goodbye has a very Jimmy Webb sound to it - like Wichita Lineman?

I wonder if Jimmy was an influence for Lindsey?

This is probably a question for the elder Ledgies - I doubt most post-Dance fans even know who Jimmy Webb is....
