Words You Just Hate For No Good Reason

I don't like the word "consequently" because my eighth grade Humanities teacher used to use it all the time and talk about how much she loved it.

I used to date a girl who hated the word "nipple" (Don't ask), and now the word makes me think of her. Hers. No, her.

I don't like the word "syrup" and I can't really tell you why except that I don't like the sound. The word "supper" makes me cringe, but only because it makes me think I'm dining in Little House.

I'm sure there are lots more. Feel free to add to this stupid list.
