Very Surprising Radio Sighting

[Johnny Stew]

I was flipping thru the stations today, as I was getting dressed, and I got a huge shock when I buzzed past our local "new & classic rock" station (102.5 WDVE), and heard "BARE TREES!"

I happened upon it right near the beginning of the song, so I got to listen to it nearly in its entirety... with a big smile on my face the whole time.

That particular station plays all the typical Mac tunes: "Rhiannon," "The Chain," "Go Your Own Way," etc., as well as Stevie's "Edge Of Seventeen," "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," and "Stand Back"... and on occasion they'll play "Hypnotized" or "Oh Well"... but it was a total shock to hear "Bare Trees!"

After the song, the DJ back-announced it as "a very early Fleetwood Mac tune - about four albums before Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks joined the band."
