I fell in love with Stevie after seeing GDW on the Dance. That was MY view of her. I loved the raw energy.
Then someone sent me the Mirage concert. Woah. I would have given my life to see Stevie in the early-mid 80's. That's when she had more confidence. That's when she knew WHO she was, she loved her music and her sexuality. I want to see THAT Stevie. Now she's great, but I know I missed a different Stevie altogether. And who cares she was doing drugs?! I mean it didn't grow inside her and it wasn't this other personality. That was still Stevie up there, just a little, um, high. I HATE Red Rocks because that's all I'll ever know of that tour and I know it's not real. After reading everyone's post, I want to see the Red Rocks tour. I just don't want to see her twirl offstage, because honestly that's all that was portrayed to me was her falling off the stage making a spectacle, not this creative sexy woman putting on the show of her life. As for FM, the tour they did before Rumours was out and they did Silver Springs and that was probably their peak.
