I'm sure I read here in The Ledge that she forgot the lyric when she started to sing Dreams on the first night of The Dance show on May 1997, and Christine told her Don't worry, even actors forget their lines in plays they've performed in many times, or something like that. So it wouldn't be the first time.

Don also forgot the lyric in the Hell Freezes Over video, and Glenn laughed a lot, I saw that clip in some doc. Though I guess it was in one of the new songs.

I've seen some videos of the Portland show and I see she performs very different than in 2014. Age is unforgiving. Not that I think she's on klonopin again, but it's possible she is taking some analgesic becuase of her shoulder accident. I see her too "calm" in many songs. Obviously we can't expect her to sing like she used to anymore. Though actually her last performances in my mind are from the show I saw in 2014, and 11 years haven't passed in vain. I hope this tour goes well for her, but watching the Portland videos, I had my doubts at times.

Stevie forgets many words and verses in concert. In the cocaine days she would have babbled and screeched until she found her words again. In the klonopin days she would have just sung the previous verse again. Today she just voids out like she did at her shows last year with Sara. Then it was dropped from the set. She blanked out and you can see the panic in her face.
Personally my all time favorite Outside The Rain at her peak Klonopin phase of 1991. During her Concord, CA show she came out and kept singing the third verse over and over. And it sort of worked. How her band functioned with her on the road must of been something.
