Default John's 1975 bass rig

Now, I'm sure most folks don't care, but, for those that do...

A little research, this picture, and some help from the guy at the unofficial Acoustic amp site, suggests the following:

He's playing an Alembic Series I (pretty clear from any number of pictures) for most stuff, and a Fender Precision with the low E tuned down to Db on "I'm So Afraid".

They're plugged in to:

Acoustic model 360 bass amp
Acoustic model 260 *guitar* amp
A pair of Acoustic model 361 1x18" cabs (there's one under the two amps, the other behind Lindsey in the picture linked above).

The bit that's puzzling me is the model 260 amp - it's a guitar amp. The guy from Acoustic360.com is pretty sure, and it does match the pictures of one. Two possibilities spring to mind: either a) he's usig the split feature from the Alembic, and running the bass through the 360, and the treble through the 260, or b) it was all he had handy to power the second cab for Lindsey...

I'm half-inclined to go for b), but still puzzled. If you look at the picture on the inside of the 'Very Best Of' booklet, he only has a model 360 there.

Does anyone have any other pictures of John's bass rig, from any era? And am I the only one who thinks his bass sound on this tour is a bit wet and floppy and gutless compared to the growl of an Alembic through the Acoustic head?
