She has mentioned not wanting to work with Lindsey or spend a year in the studio plus wanting to do her own thing, but I suspect she simply didn't like the musical direction of these recordings. That's not to suggest it's a bad album, just that it doesn't suit Stevie's vision. We shall see...

In the Meantime is my favorite Mac solo album, outside of Out of the Cradle. Christine was amazing on that. I loved her voice, loved much of the songs, loved the arrangements. So, yeah, we're living in different universes.
