At minute 1:00, Matty Healy from The 1975 mentions Tango in the Night in reference to the 1980's influence on his band's music saying that back then, music wasn't so cynical and harsh. It was fun, but it also meant something.

I have just recently been introduced to The 1975 and am enjoying hearing from the lead singer on his thoughts regarding fame, fans, music, etc.
