good at all. Consider in the ten years that passed after Tango, the best they could do between three songwriters was: Temporary One Bleed To Love Her My Little Demon Sweet Girl. The best I could say is that Lindsey's songs were listenable. And that's not really a compliment. I do like Christine and Stevie but their songs were horrible. And again consider how much time had passed - and that was the best they could do. As far as the albums I ignored, there's a reason for that. For me there are two Fleetwood Macs. There's Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. And Lindsey and Stevie's Fleetwood Mac. Without Peter or Lindsey they are a rudderless ship. Behind The Mask and Time proved as much. I like the 5, but after Tusk there is little that I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone that wasn't a serious Fleetwood Mac fan. |
