Stevie's attitude

[On Ice]

I agree 100% Street Angel is a great album. Her vocals are STRONG and the album rocks big time. Its rock n roll with a bit of country. Just because an album does not sell does not mean it is a bad album. I think that is what Stevie thinks too.

Love: Listen to the rain! Love: Maybe Love will change your mind Love: Greta and Love: Love is like a river Love: Blue Denim and Rose Garden!

Not crazy about Kick it or Docklands or Unconditional Love

One of my favorite Stevie albums!!!!

I agree. Street Angel is not the dud it's made out to be and my personal belief is that the hate for the album, including Stevie herself has more to do with how "she" was during the time, her appearance, state of mind etc than the actual performances. Granted it could have been even better with a more competent producer but there is absolutely nothing wrong with her vocals on the album, (save for the forgotten chimpanzee) they're rich in tone and texture, she's in an overall clear voice, and her live performances during the period are even better.
