The first great album of 2013 is here!
LOST SIRENS New Order 1. I'll Stay With You http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNavdp4lumM 2. Sugarcane http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaUQ_Q3rprE 3. Recoil http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmNt_az5U-Q 4. Californian Grass http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QWPQ8kEwFCo 5. Hellbent http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFWHlADbNvM 6. Shake It Up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHb4JxHToPg 7. I've Got A Feeling http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d3H6XXsGTQA 8. I Told You So http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onKs2JszvS0 The way I hear it: a loooot of Barney's lyrics are directed at Hooky, as if he's calling: "Don't crash into those rocks!!" It makes the counterpoint of Barney's guitar and Hooky's high bass all the more poignant--for being the last time we will ever hear it. They're as dramatical as Lindsey and Stevie. Speaking of, I think Fleetwood Mac should follow this format and release what is being called a "mini-LP": 8 songs this tight are plenty.
